About a movie about the father of a Baha'i

The Barber's Diaries

Charles Ellis was the founder of a remarkable family. Barney Leith writes about Charles’ daughter, Wilma:

“Wilma’s penetrating wit and intelligence make her a spiritually uplifting person to know and converse with. Amongst her many other qualities and accomplishments, her years of service at senior levels to the Baha’i Faith, including her time as the Baha’i International Community’s representative to the UN, are, I am sure, a reflection of the spiritual and intellectual quality of her heritage."

One viewer comments:

"This is an extraordinary and inspiring story - and the film deserves to be made. Actually, it needs to be made. The story of a man who adhered to principle when his life might have been more comfortable if he had not done so is a necessary antidote to the money-grubbing greed of those who have brought the world's economy to its knees. We need more people like Charles Everett Ellis."
