Identity Seminar

I recommend this speaker who will be talking soon at Louhelen Baha'i School. My daughter and I attended her two day seminar last fall at McMaster University. If you want to read more about our experience, go to the Badi Blog for Early October of 2008.

Spiritual Identity: A Seminar on Sexuality and Spirituality

Presented by Mary K. Radpour
Sponsored by the Bahá’í Association for Mental Health and the Bahá’í Network for AIDS, Sexuality, Addictions and Abuse

September 24–27

This seminar is to start exploring the notion of tolerance and what it means to really appreciate, respect, and support the process that leads people to approach Bahá’u’lláh and His teachings. It is important that we not exclude anyone from approaching Bahá’u’lláh because of our own feelings or misunderstandings of the processes of change and transformation, and to recognize the commonality and similarities of all our journeys as we face our humanity and struggle with the veils that keep us from attaining His Presence.
