Betty Frost passed this on from stalwart Niagara Baha'i Jeanne Mason:
Dear Friends -
I have just finished reading (for the umpteenth time) "Fires in Many Hearts" by Doris McKay - a record of the development of the Faith in America and eastern Canada from 1923 to the early 40s - through the great depression and the 2nd WW. An inspiration to us all.
Two new books you might want to read are "King of the Messengers: The Bab" ( available at Amazon books) - a spiritual journey into the life and revelation of the Bab.
"Take my love to the Friends" the story of Laura R. Davis - the "mother" of the Toronto Baha'i community - from 1919 for nearly 60 years - a history of Toronto and a most dedicated Baha'i.
These three books are a must I believe - to help us, incourage us and guide us through these times.
With love to all,
-- Jeanne.
